Reaktionerna efter gårdagens förlust mot Chelsea har inte låtit vänta på sig. Wenger offrade FA-Cupen för att hålla de tunga konkurrenterna stången.Det lyckades som bekant inte alls. Femte året utan titlar. Nu stormar det bland supporter och exporter.

Spelet är sönderläst, trupen svag, styrelsen tanker mer på vinst än sportsliga framgångar. Åsikterna är otaliga. Och hårda. Ett axplock dagen efter förlusten då Le Boss ändå envist hävdade att Arsenal var det bättre laget...

Every big team that can withstand the early Arsenal pressure now has a blueprint to defeat them. Catch them on the counter, home AND away. And if the Euro defeat to Man Utd is what is playing on their minds, they don’t seem to have learnt anything from it.
I have heard every excuse from inexperience to lacking big game mentality to plain bad luck. While Arsenal don't have a divine right to win every game, they also don’t have the divine right to lose in the exact same way ALL the time.

Hur kunde Wenger, som hoppade som en galen groda på sidlinjen, tro annat än att Ancelotti skulle jubla när han insåg Arsenals intentioner? Hur kan man åka till Stamford Bridge, utan en enda naturlig anfallare, och tro att man ska kunna rulla upp ett rutinerat försvar i absolut världsklass? Wenger borde ha varit listigare och satsat på snabba omställningar, på bollar till såna som Arsjavin och Walcott, men han är nu så envis och stolt att han vägrar göra avkall på sina principer.

But I don't care how well you pass the ball if you give goals like that away. We know they are bad at dealing with counter-attacks but if you cannot defend corners, when you can practice that on the training pitch and give your players designated jobs, then you are going to get free players arriving in the box. Nobody knows who is picking them up and everything else breaks down from there.

Det är lite roligt med Didier Drogba och hans förkärlek till mötena med Arsenal. Efter hans tvåmålshow i november på Emirates konstaterade ju Arsène Wenger lite syrligt att "he doesn't do much". Om nu ivorianen inte "gör mycket" i Wengers ögon vore det intressant att höra Arsenaltränarens omdöme om Theo Walcott igår.

Arsene called us naive last week, the same applies today, and it doesn't come to down to age or experience. You don't need to be 29 to know it's better to stop an attack as early as possible. Arsene might bemoan the likes of Darren Fletcher but a player like that is a valuable asset. How many times have you seen United or Chelsea caught on the break the way we are?
